Noboribetsu is Hokkaido’s most famous hot spring town, though it lacks specific local specialty foods, and the town center has a few restaurants with very limited options. Therefore, we strongly recommend opting for a ryokan with a dinner plan, where you can enjoy a delightful Kaiseki-style meal, a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner.
However, if you prefer dining out, we recommend a long-established Western-style restaurant established in 1946, a reputable ramen shop, or a café with a nice atmosphere. Please note that many of these restaurants have a last order time of about 7:30 p.m.
